Former Wolves boss reportedly set for Premier League exit

The Portuguese head coach has been at the helm since February.

Former Wolves boss Vitor Pereira is reportedly set for a Nottingham Forest exit.

The 57-year-old was appointed at the City Ground in February for his first role since a dismissal from Molineux last November.

He won eight of 20 fixtures to guide Forest to Premier League survival and a finish of 16th, five points clear of relegation.

Pereira was also in charge as the east Midlands club made the semi-final of the Europa League, but despite a first leg victory over Villa, Forest were beaten 4-1 on aggregate.

And it is now reported there could be more upheaval at Forest with the Portuguese set for an exit.

It is claimed there has been "movement" behind the scenes between Forest, owned by Evangelos Marinakis, and Pereira and the latter's head coach role is not likely to continue into the new season.

Pereira is well-versed in managerial departures. His appointment at Wolves in December 2024 was a 14th job in management and lasted until the following November.

He embarked Wolves on an excellent run of form, transforming fortunes in his first season, but a poor final month of that campaign was repeated to start 2025/26.
