West Brom player ratings: Low marks after Baggies Black Country derby no-show
See how we rated the Albion performances as Wolves bagged the bragging rights in the Black Country derby.
MAX O'LEARY
Some world class first half saves, including an outstanding double stop and then another to keep hosts at bay. But undone by horror Phillips error. Would've been landslide without him.
Incredible 8
CALLUM STYLES
Commendable performance out at right-back. One of his side's better performers, which is no surprise. Tried to make things happen. Delivery off.
Credit 7
NAT PHILLIPS
He and Campbell stood tall with clearances in first half but will be remembered for horror error to gift hosts lead on 50 minutes.
Nightmare 4
GEORGE CAMPBELL
Creaky early on but improved in he first period with some decent defending amid the barrage. Cleared well by and large and put in a half-decent display.
Clearances 6
CONOR TOWNSEND
Really targeted by Wolves and struggled against the lively Gomes. Gave his all and kept going but found it tough at times.
Suffered 5
HARRY WHITWELL
Given the nod on the right after his contract news but found it tough going and was withdrawn. Worked hard but technically wouldn't happen for talented youngster.
Subdued 5
JAYSON MOLUMBY
Worked hard as would be expected but did not have the influence he'd have liked. Scuffed shot after half-time at 0-0 typified it. Put Phillips in bit of trouble for goal. Kept going for his side.
Lacked 5
OUSMANE DIAKITE
The better of Albion's midfielders. Took a while to get going but had some nice moments in the first period. He just couldn't have the impact needed with or without ball.
Limited 6
ISAAC PRICE
Flattered to deceive and did not bring his quality to the party. Albion's best efforts were his set-pieces but that aside he was shackled with ball and use was poor.
Poor 5
JIMMY-JAY MORGAN
Really isolated and on the periphery in the first half at 0-0. He and Albion saw more ball at 1-0 down and Morgan had one or two moments, but very limited.
Peripheral 5
AUNE HEGGEBO
Continued his recent struggles and totally unable to get in on any of the action. On the fringes of everything and his side need more the centre-forward.
Fringes 5
