Swansea v West Brom FA Cup preview: 'Win, win, win!' Interim's desire for momentum as players told 'stick together'
Caretaker boss James Morrison has urged Albion's squad to pull together and power through the hard yards during adversity.
Travel weary Albion, without a head coach following Ryan Mason's dismissal, head to Swansea once again looking to avoid the embarrassment of a club-record equalling 11th consecutive away defeat.
A New Year's Day 1-0 reverse in south Wales was the penultimate clash of Mason's tenure amid woeful form away from The Hawthorns.
This time, with former player and coach Morrison in the away dugout and expected new boss Eric Ramsay potentially watching from the stands, the Baggies seek to avoid immediate FA Cup elimination at the competition's first hurdle.
"I want us to win a game of football away from home," Morrison said managing a half-smile when asked what he wanted to see Albion improve on.
"Whether that looks a bit different or not, we'll wait and see. I want us to see a team that is fighting like (it has been) previously.
"Ultimately, I haven't seen a side that's far away. In that sense I want us to try and finish teams off when it arises in games. I want us to be ruthless in both boxes.
"They will be the messages really. Keep sticking together, keep working. It's all about the hard yards you've got to do in these FA Cup games. It's all about the hard yards after a gruelling time over the Christmas period.

"I think it's about doing the dirty work, the hard yards. Who wants to go through the barriers of getting that extra yard over your position?"
Morrison oversaw a draw - also in south Wales, at Cardiff - and a final-day home victory when he was in caretaker charge following Tony Mowbray's dismissal last April.
The six months under Mowbray's successor Mason ended pitifully, however, particularly on the road with the Baggies in a rut on an historically bad run of results.
"It certainly is - I've been there myself," added the interim boss of being stuck in a negative spiral. "You've got to stick with it. You've got to stick together.
"You've got to keep doing the basics of the dirty stuff. You've got to rely on your team-mates.
"When the chances come, you've got to put it away. If you're under pressure, you've got to defend for your lives.

"Momentum is big in football. Once you get that win, anything can happen. You can go win, win, win. That's the aim of the next couple of weeks."
The FA Cup generally brings an opportunity of rotation and opportunity, though Morrison's options are limited with Alex Mowatt sidelined and Jayson Molumby a big doubt.
It could open up a chance for highly-rated midfield duo Harry Whitwell, 20, and Cole Deeming, 18, recalled from loans at National League Forest Green and Truro respectively.
"Firstly, we're glad for Harry and Cole to go out and get some experience," Morrison said. "I think it was vital for them in the development.
"Harry walked through the door on Thursday and he has grown a couple of inches, filled out. I followed his performances and he's done well, so he'll be ready in the squad.
"We've got some questions of players who are (rated) 50-50, but we'll be going as strong as possible and trying to win the game - whether that'll be with some young players in there, we'll wait and see."
