Premier League and Bundesliga clubs linked with ex-West Brom defender who did not make senior appearance
The youngster was named on the bench for Albion on two occasions.
A former West Brom youngster who did not make a single appearance for the club is reportedly attracting interest from Premier League and Bundesliga clubs.
Michael Parker signed for Albion in September 2024 following a successful trial, having spent time at Burnley, Shrewsbury Town and Huddersfield.
He became a regular starter for Albion’s PL2 side and made 40 appearances across two seasons with the club. In the first half of last season he had two highly successful spells in the National League North with Hereford.
He had been on the fringes of the first team squad before he made a surprise exit in February - making a permanent switch to Swedish top flight team Orgryte IS.
Since making the move he has played ten times with the team bottom of the Allsvenskan, but despite that Parker seems to have impressed with his displays.
According to new reports, the ex-Albion loanee is attracting interest from two Premier League clubs in Sunderland and Newcastle United.
Elsewhere, FC Copenhagen in Denmark and Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt have also been credited with interest in the 21-year-old left back.
According to reports in Sweden, Albion could be set for windfall from any potential move, as they inserted a sell on clause in the deal that saw him leave in February.

Parker was named in the Baggies first team squad on two occasions, both under former Albion boss Tony Mowbray.
He was one of a number of Albion youngsters who caught the eye of the ex-Albion manager, and back in March 2025, he said: “We've had Jamal (Mohammed) up and big Michael, because we've been short on defenders.
"They've brought some different types of qualities. Big Michael is extraordinarily fast, big and powerful, left-footed. Jamal is very, very composed and laid back but hard to get passed with his big huge frame."
Parker went on to pen a new deal with the club last summer - before making an exit in February.
