The 24-year-old will join the UniBond League club in time for their derby clash with Eastwood tomorrow, as long as the paperwork is completed in time.

Ilkeston boss Nigel Jemson, well known in Shropshire for his spell at Shrewsbury, has been an admirer of the big centre-back.

And Teesdale will not now be available to the Bucks until the penultimate game of the season at Stalybridge on April 19, as the parent club has no right of recall in the initial 28 days of the loan.

He signed off last night with a goal as the reserves lost 5-3 at Burton Albion's Pirelli Stadium.

"By his own admission he's well behind in training, fitness-wise," said Telford manager Rob Smith."He realised on Tuesday night that he needs to do something about it and he needs games.

"Ilkeston have been desperate to get him all season and I get on okay with Nigel Jemson, so it was an ideal move for him.

"He's going to a decent club at a decent standard, and he's got a cracking game tomorrow to start with.

"We're blesses with plenty of fit centre-halves at the minute and he knows he is well behind in the pecking order so it makes sense for him to go and get some games.

"He will come back at the end of the season and should be in far better shape so, you just never know, he could get back in."

Teesdale was joined on the scoresheet at Burton last night b striker Luke Reynolds, who was on target twice.

Other first team players to get a run-out were Indy Khela - who played the full 90 minutes - Carl Rodgers and Justin Marsden.

And Smith added: "It was great for Luke to grab a couple of goals. He did well when he came on against Redditch on Saturday."
