Significant change in Shrewsbury season ticket sales
Shrewsbury Town season ticket sales are up 10 per cent of where they were this time last year, according to chief executive Liam Dooley.

Town announced in February ticket prices would be frozen for the 2024/25 campaign, and children under the age of seven can get a season ticket for free.
And in a recent interview with the Shropshire Star, the Town CEO said sales have been going well.
"With regards to season ticket sales, year on year, at each stage it has been roughly tracking 10 per cent up," Dooley said.
“We were really excited to introduce free kids season tickets this season and the encouraging thing from our perspective is despite that, we have still seen an overall increase in the average ticket price due to more full-price adult tickets being purchased than in previous years.
"We are really happy where ticket sales are at the moment, but for all fans who haven’t been before or are deciding whether or not to renew, we want them with us on the journey to support the team and the town.”
The club had feared they were going to have to put season ticket prices up, but after listening to supporter feedback, they decided a freeze was the best option.
And although Dooley says a freeze will not always be the way, he is pleased with the response so far.
"It has been brilliant," he continued. "We made no qualms about telling people that we might have had to put prices up because that is one of the only revenue streams that the club has.
"We spoke to supporters about it, as we do try and communicate each time we have big decisions to make, which is something I have been passionate about since I came in.
"We were told that a freeze would have been better. That does not mean a freeze will always be the case because how can we move forward if we always freeze prices?
"We listened to the fan base and we came up with a way of doing it that meant it worked for both the club and the supporters.
"What that meant for sales is that we finished every phase more or less 10 per cent up versus the previous season.
"We have ongoing sales coming through now which we are going to continue our marketing strategy to promote in this close season.
"There are still some supporters who will be on the fence.
"Whether they are renewing or purchasing, our plan is to get as many of them to renew and feel like they are part of something.
"To make them feel as though they want to support the town and enjoy the improved experience so that we can get more people through the door."
