Shrewsbury Town keen on forward and Manchester United goalkeeper
Shrewsbury Town are working on a deal for former Cheltenham Town free agent forward George Lloyd.

Lloyd, 24, has been offered a new contract by the Robins to stay with his boyhood club, but Shrewsbury boss Paul Hurst has identified him as an attacking target.
Hurst is believed to be keen on a reunion with Lloyd, who he worked with at Grimsby as a loanee in the second half of the 2022/23 campaign.
Lloyd, comfortable out wide or as an attack-minded midfielder, struck both goals as Cheltenham earned a 2-0 Boxing Day victory over Salop last season.
Reports in Gloucestershire have stated it is “fully expected” that Lloyd departs the club he joined at under-10s level, but that he also has admirers in League Two.
The forward has played 136 senior matches for Cheltenham since his breakthrough in 2017 and also had loans at Hereford and Port Vale. He scored five times in 21 games on loan under Hurst a little over a year ago.
Meanwhile, it is understood another goalkeeper on Shrewsbury’s wanted list is Manchester United youngster Radek Vitek as a loan target. The 20-year-old from the Czech Republic has come off the back of his first taste of regular senior football having spent the second half of last season on loan at Accrington Stanley, where he made 18 appearances.
Vitek, who stands at 6ft 6in, made his senior debut in his homeland aged 16 and shortly afterwards came the switch to Old Trafford.
Hurst loaned a highly-rated young goalkeeper from United, Dean Henderson, in his first spell as Town boss.
Town are also interested in Toby Savin, 23, who is out of contract at Stanley, and Crystal Palace youngster Joe Whitworth, 20, on loan.
