Three wins in a row and five in the last six have put Town in an excellent position to finally get out of League Two.

They have hit form at the right time and all they need to do now is keep their nerve in the remaining four games...easy!

On paper we have got a decent run in but the players can't take the teams for granted and need to keep doing what they have been doing for much of the season.

I think we can forget about winning the league which isn't the end of the world. I think most fans will just be relieved to get promoted after some near misses over the last few seasons.

Credit must go to the forwards who have found some extra form of late, but a lot of our victories have been based on excellent defensive displays and being able to keep clean sheets.

Next up for Town is their re-arranged home game against local rivals Port Vale on Tuesday.

Town were leading and playing well when a freak fire forced the game to be abandoned a few weeks ago. I just hope this doesn't come back to haunt us.

Port Vale have got very little to play for but will be wanting to put one over on their local rivals.

Then on Saturday Town face a trip to Accrington which is not always the easiest places to go.

At this stage of the season fans will be happy of a repeat of the 1-0 victory we picked up in October.

So four games to go and I'm reckoning seven or eight points should do the trick.

It seems only Torquay and Crawley can stand in the way of us getting automatic promotion, but they will have to be on their best form and hope Town slip up badly.
