Who starts? Shrewsbury Town predicted XI for Tranmere Rovers clash
Salop welcome Tranmere Rovers looking to return to winning ways - but they will be without midfielder Tom Sang
Shrewsbury Town welcome Tranmere Rovers aiming to end their losing streak - here’s our predicted team.
Speaking ahead of the game, boss Gavin Cowan confirmed Tom Sang is set for a spell on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.
While some players have picked up minor knocks - or “niggles”, as Cowan described them - there are no other major injury concerns ahead of the clash.
Salop are looking to respond after four consecutive defeats. Cowan made five changes for last weekend’s loss at Newport County and says his team selection will be based on performances in training this week, as well as the response shown by his players.
Predicted Shrewsbury Town team (3-4-1-2):
Starting XI: Cox; Stubbs, Boyle, Ruffles; Kabia, Perry, McDermott, Berkoe; Scully; Morgan, Marquis.
Subs: Brook, Anderson, Lee, Benning, Freeman, England, Ihionvien.
Big match prediction: Home win
