Shrewsbury Town complete loan signing of Rangers midfielder Greg Docherty
Shrewsbury Town have completed the loan signing of Rangers midfielder Greg Docherty.
The 21-year-old highly-rated Ibrox man was made available on loan by Gers boss Steven Gerrard and joins Montgomery Waters Meadow for the entire campaign.

Boss John Askey was keen on bolstering his midfield ranks after Jon Nolan's departure to Ipswich was today confirmed. Docherty is described as an energetic box-to-box midfielder.
The boss said on the Scotland youth international's loan: "I'm really pleased. Greg's got good pedigree and played a lot of games for his age.
"He helps strengthen the midfield, an area that I think is vital for us.
"He had one or two options. He's done well to get his move to Rangers and what I've seen and heard he's done well.
"The new manager's gone in and got his own plans but he's still very much a part of Rangers. They just want him out to play games, hopefully we've benefitted from it.
"He's very much an exciting talent. Playing for Scotland at most levels and done really well for Hamilton and Rangers. It gives him the opportunity to play English football and show everybody what he can do."
Shrewsbury are believed to have beaten off competition from Sunderland for his signature.
Askey has been impressed by Docherty's pedigree. The youngster has played more than 100 games in the top flight of Scottish football and was only taken on a permanent deal from Hamilton in January this year.
He continued: "When I look at players, more often than not I look at how many games they've played regards their age.
"To play 100 games at the age he is, he can't be a bad player.
"It's vital to look at things like that.
"He's used to playing in front of decent gates, especially at home. He will handle the occasions having played in big games, the Celtic v Rangers games, it shouldn't faze him.
"We're all looking forward to seeing him."
The boss described his latest capture as a player with impressive stamina with the ability to pick a pass as well as beat an opposition player.
"He's very energetic," Askey added. "He was an 800m champion, it shows he's got stamina but has a bit of pace about him as well.
"He can go past players as well as pick a pass. I'm looking forward to working with him.
"He's one who can get in behind defenders, which is vital. You want players who can get from one end of the pitch to the other and he gives us that as well as a few other players we've got."
