Shrewsbury Town 1-4 Oldham - match report
SHREWSBURY Town were dumped out of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy at the first round stage at home to Oldham Athletic.
Town got off to a bad start when captain Tamika Mkandawire went off with a suspected hamstring injury after barely six minutes, to be replaced by Darren Jones.

And Danny Philliskirk put the visitors ahead after nine minutes when Town failed to clear after Joe Anyon had saved Joseph Mills' effort.
Philliskirk doubled his tally 17 minutes later when he guided home Mills' left wing cross and Adam Rooney looked to have wrapped up the result four minutes before half time with a powerful header.
Graham Burke gave Shrewsbury a glimmer of hope just before the break with a thumping long range strike.
But Oldham started the second half well and Mills almost made it 4-1 with a fierce low drive which cannoned off the post on 49 minutes.
And Sidney Schmeltz completed the scoring with Oldham's fourth 14 minutes from time.
