Shrewsbury patient on Jordan Shipley’s return
Jordan Shipley will not be returning ahead of schedule despite stepping up his recovery from a knee injury, according to Matt Taylor.

The Shrewsbury Town wing-back has been missing since the end of August after damaging his knee in the game against Fleetwood.
The initial diagnosis suggested Shipley was set to miss up to three months of the EFL season – which would rule him out until December.
But ahead of Shrews’ last two matches, Shipley has been spotted with the sports science staff running laps around the pitch which has led to questions about an early return, something the Town boss said was ‘unfortunately’ not the case.
He said: “No, I do not think so. We could have done with him back for the weekend.
“Unfortunately not, we are not due to have him anytime soon I do not think.”
Town would have returned to training yesterday with a spring in their step after Dan Udoh’s late winner got them their first win in seven.
Shrews have been absolutely riddled with injury problems, and it looked as if Taylor Perry and Morgan Feeney were added to that list on Saturday.
Town will be keeping everything crossed those substitutions were nothing more than precautionary.
If not, they are set to be short on Saturday, as Nohan Kenneh and Max Mata head off on international duty. Three players being called up to their international side is the threshold they need for a postponement – they fall just short of that.
If Perry and Feeney are not fit – Taylor will have a few selection headaches to contend with.
