Marko Marosi

A quiet day for the Town goalkeeper, with very little to do. He could not do anything about either goal, and he avoided any mishaps on a wet day.

Quiet 6

Tom Flanagan

Another commanding performance from the defender, who played a sublime crossfield pass for Shipley to score his goal. Defended very well.

Excellent 8

Jason Sraha

Another commanding performance from Sraha, made a vital header right at the end right when it was needed most, and used the ball well on the left side of the back three.

Good 7

Joe Anderson

He has had to wait a while for his chance after losing his spot to Jason Sraha, but he did really well playing in the middle of the Town back three. He took his chance.

Solid 7

Mal Benning

The left wing-back has had a difficult few weeks in the Town team, but he was superb on the left side linking up well with Shipley.

Improved 7

Carl Winchester

Another solid display from Winchester who once again did well at wing-back getting forward well at times.

Tidy 7

Elliott Bennett

The experienced man captained the side. He played one or two lovely switches of play and got around well in midfield.

Busy 7

Taylor Perry

Played an important role in the third goal after wonderful work from Bayliss, Perry was bright playing in a deeper role alongside Bennett.

Good 7

Jordan Shipley

What a return. He scored a wonderful second which demonstrated his class, but played a big part in the first goal too.

Delight 8

Tom Bayliss

Did so well to evade two challenges in the middle of the park before playing in Perry with the outside of his foot. He was good overall in this one.

Impact 7

Dan Udoh

Right place, right time for Udoh to convert Shipley’s shot for the first goal, he is Town’s top scorer and when they need a goal he is often the man to provide it.

Important 7

Subs

Ryan Bowman (Shipley 66) 6, Max Mata (Udoh 74) 6, Elliot Thorpe (Bayliss 87), Nohan Kenneh (Perry 87), Tunmise Sobowale (Benning 87).
