Another huge game is on the horizon for Shrewsbury Town and there is more than just a place in the next round of the cup at stake.

It is the first meeting between Shrewsbury and Wrexham for almost sixteen years - and for the fans this clash means everything.

It is the first time Town will have played the North Welsh team since Hollywood movie star Ryan Reynolds and comedy actor Rob McElhenney bought the club for £2 million in November 2020.

Even though there is a break from their league campaign it is a game that Shrews will be desperate to win in front of a capacity crowd in Shropshire.

How will Matt Taylor's side line up?

Marko Marosi

The Town number one will be in goal.

Morgan Feeney

He played on the right side of the back three last week and was a menace from set plays. He will once again be in the team providing no injury mishaps.

Chey Dunkley

The Town captain will be charged with dealing with the dangerous Paul Mullin but will be in his favoured position in the centre of three.

Joe Anderson

The defender played well last weekend for Town but he will want to keep that up with Jason Sraha now back fit and pushing for a place in the team.

Jordan Shipley

He did so well last week against Fleetwood. A brilliant finish for the goal, I would move him back to wing-back in this one to allow Matt Taylor to pick Tom Bayliss.

Elliott Bennett

Bennett looks much more comfortable at right wing-back rather than in the centre of midfield.

Nohan Kenneh

He got his first goal last weekend and he will need to be at his defensive best to stop Wrexham when they go forward.

Taylor Perry

Another Town player who was good last time out, comfortable on the ball, he will play.

Tom Bayliss

Has not started since the game against Blackpool, but in big games, you need your best players in the team and Bayliss is one of those. I would play him on the left of the front three.

Tunmise Sobowale

Brilliant performance last week, looks hard to leave him out.

Ryan Bowman

Linked play well against the Cod Army and is the best option to start on Sunday.

Formation 3-4-3

Subs: Burgoyne, Benning, Mata, Idowu, Sraha, Pierre, Loughran, Winchester, Whitney.
