Micky Mellon expecting quiet January window at Shrewsbury Town
Shrewsbury Town boss Micky Mellon is anticipating the January transfer window will be a quiet one for the club.
Town are currently sitting third in the League Two table after falling off top spot following the 1-0 defeat at Burton.

But while Mellon made numerous signings during the summer, he is not expecting a flurry of activity this month – although
he is hoping to extend the loan of midfielder Bobby Grant, who is due to head back to parent club Blackpool.
"We will try and work a few bits and bobs but I wouldn't expect anything too dramatic this window," Mellon said.
"We are trying to work on Bobby Grant. We are trying to extend it and we will see what happens next week.
"It will be another loan because as a club we are not in a position where we can buy players.
"Bobby has done terrifically well for us and we are hoping to keep him here as long as possible.
"He is not running at full capacity yet. So it's quite exciting because he is getting fitter all the time."
The club has confirmed no away tickets will be available before kick-off for Town's game against Luton at Kenilworth Road on Thursday.
More than 500 tickets have been allocated to the blue and amber army for the clash but they are only available from the Greenhous Meadow ticket office, ticket hotline or the club's official website.
* Shrewsbury's reserves slipped to a 2-0 defeat against Liverpool in a hastily arranged friendly yesterday.
A Town team, featuring one trialist, took on a Reds side after it was confirmed today's central league clash against Morecambe would be postponed.
Amongst the players starting for Liverpool was Spanish under-21 star Suso, while striker Andy Mangan was in the Shrewsbury side as he looks to build-up his fitness.
Coach Ian Dawes, who took charge of the Shrews, said: "We arranged the game given the reserve game we were supposed to play against Morecambe got rearranged.
"It was a good run out for the lads and very positive for an hour. Liverpool had good players in their team, players such as Suso."
