Manager sacked after defeat to Shrewsbury Town
Shrewsbury Town won 3-2 at Crawley Town on Tuesday evening.
Colin Kazim-Richards has been sacked as head coach of EFL basement side Crawley Town.

Kazim-Richards was defiant after Tuesday’s 3-2 defeat by Shrewsbury Town left them five points adrift at the bottom of the League Two table but the axe fell in the early hours.
Assistant Julian Gray and director of football Erdem Konyar are also leaving, with Crawley saying in a statement on their website: “The club would like to place on record its sincere thanks to Colin and Julian, who joined during a challenging period and played an important role in securing the club’s EFL status at the end of last season.”
Kazim-Richards joined the club in March and signed a new deal in May after Crawley avoided relegation but they have won only one of their opening 10 league games this season.
Speaking after the loss to Shrewsbury, the 40-year-old said: “If I’m given time, I definitely feel I can turn it around.”
