Leyton Orient v Shrewsbury preview: Matt Taylor is keen to ease the pressure with goals at O’s
Matt Taylor and his Shrewsbury Town side have come in for a little bit of flack over the last couple of weeks.

Despite three early wins, supporters voiced their opinions at the final whistle in the two games at the Croud Meadow this past week – more than anything over a lack of goals.
And Taylor takes his side to Leyton Orient this Saturday knowing that as much as it is about three points, it is all about finding the net.
Despite this difficult mini run, the Salop chief has insisted his players remain in high spirits, with confidence.
And his belief remains unwavered – and he believes with a little bit of luck things will turn.
“Part of my role is to come out and tell the truth as it is, we have been good out of possession but not good enough in possession,” explained Taylor. “That has built up pressure, now it is my job to remove that element of pressure from the players. We have good players, really good players who at the moment are not getting that little bit of luck that you need on a football pitch.
“If you look at the chances we have missed, there have been saves, we’ve hit the woodwork and we just need one to drop and everything will turn in terms of pressure.
“One of the biggest complements I can pay them is that they are good players for this level and they need to go and show it on Saturday.
“I want them to express themselves and they will do.
“They are in confident mood and they need a little bit of luck. How many times do we see it? A little bounce and it goes in, and it will turn, I have no problem about that.”
Tomorrow’s trip sees Salop come up against another of the newly-promoted sides – and an outfit who have had a similar start to the campaign.
For Taylor, he also goes up against a former colleague in Richie Wellens, having spent time as a player-coach at Swindon Town during the final months of his playing career.
He expects his side to come up against a different type of challenge to what they have faced with the other newly-promoted sides.
And the Salop head coach explained the overnight trip gives his side more time to bond, with still being a relatively new group.
He said: “I know how they play, they are a good side.
“I worked as a player-coach with Richie at Swindon, and they like to play open and expansive.
“They were excellent last season and I fully expect them to be a good side in League One this season.
“It will be tough, they always are, and it will present a different challenge to Bristol Rovers and Brighton.
“But we 100 per cent have the right mindset, and we need to make sure we go and give the best account of ourselves.
“It is an overnight trip, a chance to get some classroom working with the players and time for them to bond as a group as they are still a relatively new group.
“We need to go and put in a performance worthy of gaining a result on Saturday, and when the opportunities come along we need to be a little bit more ruthless.”
