Dave Edwards: Shrewsbury's transfer business looking promising
It is good to see Shrewsbury Town starting to conduct some business getting their first additions of the summer over the line.

The first one was George Lloyd, who had been spoken about for a couple of weeks. He fits into the mould of player Shrewsbury are going after.
Head coach Paul Hurst has worked with him at Grimsby and Micky Moore has worked with him at Cheltenham.
They want to get players in at a good age who they can improve, get the best out of them and then potentially sell.
He is 24, so he is a good age and he has played a lot of football. Lloyd is quite versatile.
He can play across all of those front positions but most importantly from what I have seen of him, he is someone the fans will enjoy watching because of him because of his work-rate.
He may not have been as prolific as what you would want from a striker, but that is the reason Shrewsbury were able to get him.
With Hurst and Chris Doig working on him day in and day out, they will be able to find those goals.
You see it so often with players when they are not at the right club and then all of a sudden they get to a club where it all clicks.
Hopefully, that can be Shrewsbury for Lloyd. He has the attributes, he is good in the air and makes runs in behind, he will be a great addition.

Toto Nsiala is a really important signing too. In my column last week, I spoke about the team lacking leaders, since then we have we found out Chey Dunkley has left, so we need experience in the team.
Nsiala is that. He is very aggressive on the football pitch, he leads by example and Hurst knows how to get the best out of him.
It is the fourth time they have joined up together and it shows how much he trusts him.
Getting it done early, so he is there for the first day of pre-season is really important too.
I thought Dunkley was one of the players we might have had a chance to keep.
I know he would have been offered reduced terms but with locality, I thought there might be half a chance he might stay at the club.
I am a little surprised he has not gone to a top League One club because you know exactly what you are going to get with Dunkley.
There might well have been interest from higher up, but Chesterfield are very ambitious after coming into the Football League.
A big factor would be Paul Cook, who is in charge there, he worked with Dunkley when he was at Wigan.
He will leave the club with everyone’s best wishes because in the short time he was in Shropshire, he played 100 matches, he was very consistent and he left everything out on the pitch each time he went out there – he has definitely left an impression on everyone at Shrewsbury that is for sure.
Harrison Biggins is also someone I really like. I was pleased to see Shrewsbury had signed him – another player on a two-year deal.
I have commentated on recently, and he plays the centre of midfield in an area where Shrewsbury really needs some strength in depth.
They need some athleticism and someone who can be box-to-box and that is exactly what he does, so he is another smart addition.
