Daniel Udoh: 6 of his very best Shrewsbury goals
Dan Udoh left Shrewsbury Town this week after five years at the Croud Meadow.

During that time he scored 38 goals in 181 appearances, becoming a firm fan-favourite in the process.
And after turning down Shrewsbury's offer of a contract to sign for better terms at League One rivals Wycombe Wanderers, we remember six of Udoh's most memorable and important goals during his time in blue and amber.
Accrington 2-3 Shrewsbury – August 2019
After signing from neighbours AFC Telford United in 2019, Udoh didn't take much time to open his account for Town – and what a way to get it. His 89th-minute winner secured a come-from-behind 3-2 victory at Accrington Stanley. He had only been on the pitch for 10 minutes.
Shrewsbury 1-0 Charlton – November 2021
Udoh made a habit of scoring vital goals during his time in Shropshire. On this occasion, he scored a 93rd-minute winner, ensuring Town took the three points to lift themselves out of the relegation zone.
Liverpool 4-1 Shrewsbury – January 2022
One of the goals Udoh is most synonymous with is the one he netted at Anfield in 2022. The striker scored after 27 minutes to put Town in front against Jurgen Klopp’s side and gave Shrewsbury fans the chance to dream of a big FA Cup scalp.
Fleetwood 0-1 Shrewsbury – August 2023
Udoh ran the length of the pitch to score the goal that gave Shrewsbury a vital win at Fleetwood last season. It was a hugely important goal for Udoh, with it being his first goal since recovering from a terrible ACL injury that had virtually ruled him out for the whole of the season before.
Northampton 0-2 Shrewsbury – January 2024
He scored the first goal of Paul Hurst’s second era in charge after returning to the club as Town convincingly beat Northampton. He would go on to score seven goals in 16 games under Hurst to keep Shrewsbury safe from relegation.
Charlton 1-1 Shrewsbury – April 2024
And one of those was the goal Udoh scored to confirm Salop would remain in League One for a 10th consecutive season. It was the second in a run of three games Udoh would score in to end his time in Shropshire.
