Colchester United v Shrewsbury Town match is called off
Shrewsbury Town's match against Colchester United was called off this afternoon because of a waterlogged pitch.
It followed two pitch inspections today, one at 9.30am and a second around 3.30pm, when it was decided the match could not go ahead.
Soon afterwards left back Joe Jacobson tweeted: "Game off. Cheers for making us and everyone else drive down. Was looking forward to the game."
Winger Jon Taylor tweeted: "Fumin feel sorry for all the fans travelling down."
