Shrewsbury Town vs Colchester United squad news: One change as Salop defender absent
Gavin Cowan has made one change for his first away game in charge of Shrewsbury Town.
Sam Stubbs drops out of the squad due to a minor knee injury, with Ismeal Kabia coming into the starting XI for the trip to Colchester United.
The rest of the side is unchanged from the team that earned a point against Barnet in Cowan’s first match at the helm.
Salop head into the contest having lost their last four away league matches, conceding 10 goals during that run.
Colchester, meanwhile, remain firmly in the play-off hunt. They sit 12th in the League Two table with 11 wins this season and are just seven points off the top seven.
After their 2-0 victory in the reverse fixture, the U’s could secure their first Football League double over Shrewsbury Town since the 1962/63 campaign.
Shrewsbury Town XI: Cox; Kabia, Hoole, Boyle, Ruffels, Benning; Clucas, Freeman; Scully; Marquis, Lloyd
Subs: Brook, Anderson, Berkoe, McDermott, Sang, Perry, Morgan
