Another bright performance since returning to the side, the defender is very aggressive. Almost bent one into the top corner with his right foot just before the break.

A first league start for Fleming. He was one of the best performers on the day, an outlet on the left and steady in defence.

The engine room of the midfield who loves to tackle. This game suited him and he did very well.

The midfielder’s best performance of the season by some distance, he looked threatening in the final third and linked up well with Fleming.

Should have given Shrews the lead just before half-time with a free header which would have been his first goal since arriving in Shropshire. Aside from that his link-up play was tidy.
