Shrewsbury boss Matt Taylor: We will start scoring

If Shrewsbury Town keep doing what they are doing they will start scoring - according to Matt Taylor.

Town's goalless draw at home to Charlton meant his side have now gone a whole month without scoring - that covers six games across all competitions.

Salop have scored four goals in their opening nine League One matches but their latest blank was despite a positive performance against Charlton at the Meadow.

"If we continue doing what we are doing we will get it right," he said when asked about Town's lack of goals in September.

"I have no concerns about that. It comes down to practice and players understanding that in those moments they need to be confident.

"When one goes in everything will change. What we have done today is we have changed the narrative.

"The fans hopefully today saw that the players left nothing out there on the pitch.
