Shrewsbury consider James Collins return
Derby County striker James Collins is one of the forward options Shrewsbury Town are monitoring, the Shropshire Star understands.
The 32-year-old has had two spells at the Croud Meadow previously – and he scored 12 goals for the Rams last season in 42 League One appearances.
Salop are in desperate need of reinforcements in forward areas with just two recognised strikers in the squad ahead of the start of their campaign this weekend, and Collins is someone who is under consideration.
Meanwhile, Town forward Aiden O’Brien has joined League Two side Sutton United on loan until January.
