Centre-half Sadler acknowledges the FA Cup third-round tie is probably the biggest game in his time at the club, but he and his team-mates are not getting carried away.

“We’re fully focused on whatever is the next football match. We’ve got a good group of lads and there’s been no requirement to bring anyone back down to earth,” he said.

“This is probably one of the biggest games, on a personal level, since I’ve been here.

“I think it is the only time I’ve played against a Premier League club, while at Shrewsbury. (But) keeping our feet on the ground, that will continue.”

He added: "We look forward to all the outside things – the crowd, TV – but it is just the next game.

"It is a sell-out and hopefully it'll highlight what a good club Shrewsbury Town is."
