The Bucks are in negotiations over their potential participation in a tournament at Carnegie Irish Premier League strugglers Larne.
Plans are in the preliminary stages, but chairman Lee Carter has confirmed the tour is a realistic proposition.
And, if the Irish venture falls through, Telford have a back-up plan which could see them involved in a tournament with Stockport, FC United of Manchester and Lokomotiv Leipzig.Carter said: "We are investigating the possibility of the Larne trip.
"Officials from Larne came over on a tour of Telford, had a look around the ground and we gave them a talk about our work within the community in the Learning Centre.
"They fell in love with the place and the last thing their vice-chairman said to me was that we would be more than welcome to go over there for a friendly.
"There is a chance it could be a three-team tournament with another Irish Premier League team or even a Scottish side."
Telford have already slotted in one friendly by agreeing to play Wellington Amateurs to open the County Premier League's new ground at Oakengates.
But Carter added: "We have to have half-an-eye on next season just to put some plans in place. It's been a strange situation for us, though, because we have to make sure that we keep our entire focus on this season and trying to get promotion."
