Bucks in rallying call to fans

A rallying call has gone out to AFC Telford United fans to turn out tonight to support the side in one of the biggest games in the young club's history.

The Bucks take on Alfreton Town at home in the first leg of the Blue Square North play-off semi-final this evening and the club hopes the Telford faithful will pack out the ground and roar the team on.

Telford are just three games away from a possible return to the top flight of non-League football and more than 3,000 Bucks supporters are expected at The New Bucks Head this evening for the first of those games.

Dave Embery, chairman of the AFC Telford United Supporters Trust, said: "I hope as many people as possible will turn out to cheer the club on."

Tonight's match kicks off at 7.45pm, with entry priced from £10 adults, £7 concessions and £1 under-16s.
