Sometimes you need a humbling loss. You feel frustrated for those couple of days afterwards but then you’re determined o come back even stronger, with more focus.

Gavin Cowan will have gone over that game, look at what went right and what went wrong, and they have a chance to respond in emphatic fashion at the New Bucks Head this weekend.

Stockport County, like Darlington, are a big club, big name.

And because of that, you expect them to be one of the top sides in the division but the Hatters have had a mixed start to the campaign.

For Telford’s sake, you just hope they don’t hit top gear on Saturday.
