AFC Telford United man backed after making his mark following loan decision
A decision was made on the young attacker’s future last Friday.
Last-gasp goal hero Kian Ryley has been praised for grasping his chance after a decision was made for AFC Telford United to extend his loan.

The 21-year-old winger emerged from the bench to fire a 95th-minute winner to earn Telford a crucial three National League North points in a comeback victory at home to fellow lowly outfit Darlington on Saturday.
Ryley’s first month with the Bucks from Solihull Moors was stop-start at times due to a worrying head injury and concussion protocols following a collision in the FA Cup at Worksop Town.
Boss Kevin Wilkin said: “I think within the final minute of the game, minute and a half, whatever, we could have won it.
“It’s at a great moment there where we could have stuck the ball in the back of the net and won the game. Equally, they break away, they could have won it.
“And then, fair play to Kian. He unfortunately missed the one before that, but to keep going and finish in the way that he did, I’m delighted for him as a young man that wants more game time and wants to get out there and show what he’s all about.
“I’m delighted for him, delighted for the lads, and most pleased for probably the support that we had on Saturday, that they’ve got something to hopefully feel better about.”
Wilkin reserved praise for his squad’s efforts during the week in the build-up to the big Darlington showdown.
“The lads had been in Tuesday and Thursday, we packed quite a lot in both sessions and they’d been brilliant, with all the bits and pieces that are required in any group that wants to perform to a high level,” he added.
“The punctuality, desire to want to get out there and work hard for one another. It’s been really evident through the course of the week.
“That pleases me on that front. While that’s there we give ourselves a chance in games.”
