Shrewsbury Town recall Ryan Sears from AFC Telford loan
Shrewsbury Town have recalled young defender Ryan Sears from his loan spell at AFC Telford.
Salop confirmed the decision following the announcement of their season-long loan signing of Josh Emmanuel from Ipswich.
Telford boss Gavin Cowan was keen to extend the right-back's stay at the New Bucks Head, planning talks with chairman Andy Pryce to discuss his future.
However, he'll now head back to his parent club, with Salop choosing to recall him ahead of his initial return date, which was after this weekend's meeting with Ashton United.
Sears is available for John Askey's team selection for their game against Bristol Rovers, and will act as cover for James Bolton - who is struggling with an injury.
