AFC Telford release nine players

AFC Telford have released nine players as boss Steve Kittrick begins his summer rebuild.

Those heading out the door include Steve Akrigg, who began the campaign as Bucks skipper.

The 28-year-old missed the end of the season after suffering a serious knee ligament injury in December.

Kittrick is set to make big changes as he prepares for his first full season in charge.

The other players released are Rod McDonald, Charlie Barnett, Jordan Deacy, Andy Owens, Kristian Platt, Sean Cooke and goalkeeping duo Jonathan Hedge and Freddie Hall.
