Dave Edwards: Shrewsbury are desperate for a result!
Even the most optimistic Shrewsbury fans will be struggling at the moment with the results and performances.

One point in 15 is not how we saw these first five games going. We were really hoping for a positive start and building blocks to move forward, but straight away we're into a bit of a scrap. We're desperate to find results, points and goals.
Momentum is massively against Town at the moment and winning games is becoming increasingly difficult. I've been in these situations and it is like you forget how to win a game of football. You do need a little bit of luck along the way.
I do feel there have been positives in the last two games. The scoreline against Notts County was terrible but I felt in the first half Town were very competitive. They won a lot more second balls than I've seen them all year.
I've been saying for the last few weeks, Town haven't won enough second balls in midfield to give themselves a chance to go and play. That's so important in League Two because those basics are what give you the chance and the platform to win games.
We ran out of steam in the second half, got overrun, conceded poor goals and ultimately were not good enough.
There was a more complete performance against Swindon over 90 minutes. There was a lot more creativity, a lot more chances.
Luca Hoole had a big chance in the first half and he should score. Callum Stewart, who did well when he came on, played on the shoulder, gave Town something different. He spurned a really good one-on-one chance and Taylor Perry had a volley in the second half, which was another really good chance.
We got punished down the other end. Swindon took their first goal well, which came when Toto Nsiala stepped out to press the ball but then the defenders behind him didn't narrow up quick enough in the space he had vacated.
If Toto stays in his shape or the defence gets around him a little bit quicker, that could have been avoided.
After equalising in the 90th minute and finally thinking we're going to get what we deserve, the killer goal came in the 93rd minute.
It was another mistake in a critical moment of the game. Harrison Biggins thinks he's doing the right thing by going to press, showing enthusiasm and energy, but when you press like that you've always got to be aware of what you're leaving.
This also comes from the communication from the lads behind him, you have to organise your midfield, when to press, when to stay. He burst out of his shape and where he leaves the gap, all of a sudden the Swindon player picks up the ball and he's got 20 or 30 yards to run into. Whereas if he stays in his shape that doesn't appear.
In those key moments you need organisation, you need big voices, you need leaders. I feel Town have got that but when it's like this and your head's scrambled from the results, that's where you need to be ice-cold and clinical.
It ended up being one point in 15 and desperate for results with an absolutely massive home game against Accrington coming up at the weekend with an EFL trophy game before it.
I was delighted to see Isaac England get on in midfield. He is calm on the ball, maybe lacks a little bit of mobility, that's maybe why he isn't starting games, but on the ball he's very calm and progressive with his passes.
His ball actually sets up the corner which Town get the equaliser off, from playing forward into good areas.
I'm delighted for him to get some more minutes and I'm sure he'll play in the EFL trophy and get more minutes. It's great to have a young local lad on the team. I really hope Isaac's form continues.
Moving into the end of the window, I know Michael Appleton needs to get players out, but they need players in as well. They are desperate for athleticism.
They've got Tommy McDermott to come back in after his ban, he will add a lot to it, but we really need some legs in the team.
Then they need quality at the top end of the pitch. These players are going to have to come from top clubs, Championship or Premier League clubs, loans with a little bit of the X-Factor.
Let's hope we can get some business done before the end of the window. Players coming in who aren't carrying any of that baggage from the relegation and losing games and try and get us to win a game of football first and foremost, and then give ourselves a platform to build.
But there's a lot of work to do at the moment.
