Crewe, Grimsby...and now Norwich: Some of West Brom's heaviest Championship defeats following Hawthorns horror show
West Brom's Hawthorns horror show against Norwich on Tuesday evening was a throwback to the dark days of the 1990s.
Being hit for five without reply against a relegation rival left Albion fans in a state of shock. It was a truly awful night for Baggies supporters - with many questioning where they go from here.
The reaction to the defeat has seen many reference the bad days of the 1990s.
There were some shocking results back then and this Norwich nightmare is right up there with them.
Jonny Drury looks back on some of those results of the past and where this one ranks:
25/26 - West Brom 0-5 Norwich
In terms of results in the second tier, this is the worst home defeat in the club's history outside of the top flight. That is fact.
Even considering away games, this is right up there at the very top. A night that will head into the history books for all the wrong seasons.
21/22 - Nottingham Forest 4-0 West Brom
Still chasing a play-off spot - Albion were thumped by a resurgent Forest.

The Norwich loss is the heaviest since this one under Steve Bruce. This result can be slightly caveated by the fact Albion were down to ten men in the first half.
07/08 - West Brom 1-4 Leicester
A strange result in a Championship winning season. Albion were humbled at home by relegation threatened Leicester.
Much like Forest, the point in this one is that they did have a man sent off after 35 minutes.
03/04 - Walsall 4-1 West Brom
A shocking start to a season in a derby match. Albion were run all over by a Paul Merson inspired Walsall side - as Jason Koumas came up with the consolation.

Safe to say Gary Megson made sure it was a one off. West Brom went straight back up that season.
99/00 - Sheffield United 6-0 West Brom
A Marcus Bent inspired United side put Brian Little's Albion to the sword. Paul Devlin and Michael Brown were also on the scoresheet.

Little lasted two more games before being axed. Albion's loss against Norwich was the heaviest since this six goal haul in 2000.
98/99 - Grimsby 5-1 West Brom
Previously unbeaten Albion were left stunned as Grimsby rammed in four goals in the first half - in what was a shocking day for Dennis Smith's Baggies.
Albion recovered to produce a mid table finish
98/99 - West Brom 1-5 Crewe
The Norwich loss is the heaviest defeat since this awful home display.
A young Crewe side that included future Premier League players in Seth Johnson and Danny Muprhy ran riot at The Hawthorns.

According to reports in the Guardian at the time, 500 Albion fans smashed the glass doors at The Hawthorns as they called for manager Smith to step down.
97/98 - Charlton 5-0 West Brom
Smith's Albion were put to the sword on a number of occasions - including this one against the Addicks.
Albion shipped four second half goals in a damaging defeat in London
96/97 - Ipswich 5-0 West Brom
Another humbling for Albion at what was a low ebb in the 90s.
Alan Buckley's ill-fated spell had come to an end and Albion were smashed for five at Portman Road, under caretaker boss Arthur Mann
