Club can hit high - umpire
Telford & Wrekin have the potential to become Shropshire's very first side in hockey's National League - that's the verdict of leading umpire John Anderson. The new town side narrowly missed out on promotion to the sport's top division last season and start the new campaign at Harborne this weekend.
Anderson - who still officiates in the county after a career that has seen him take charge of games all over the world - believes that Telford are the ones to watch this season.

He said: "Providing they gel together, hold their discipline and remain consistent, they could even push for top spot.
The official also tipped Bridgnorth for a top five finish, but said that Shrewsbury could struggle after losing players.
