Bridgnorth likely to drop to West Midlands League
Midland Alliance officials say crisis club Bridgnorth Town are likely to have to reform in the West Midlands Regional League after going into administration.
Members of the historic Shropshire club took the action as the prospects of paying off mounting debts – believed to be in the region of £70,000 to £80,000 – receded.

FA and Shropshire FA officials have met to discuss the Crown Meadow side's future, but it seems likely they will have to start again at a lower level of football.
Alliance chairman Michael Joiner confirmed: "The normal procedure in these cases is a new club is formed it would have to start a minimum of two levels lower.
"It is sad that a club like Bridgnorth, who were in the Southern League in 1982, are in the state they are in now. But it's a mirror of problems elsewhere in football."
Town manager Mark Clyde says he and his players need to know quickly if a new club is to start otherwise they will be looking to fix themselves up elsewhere.
The club's affairs are in the hands of the administrators, who are understood to be coming into the club to examine the books today.
