The 20-year-old summer signing from Bury has been an instant hit with the Town faithful with a string of eye-catching displays throughout pre-season.

With Derek Asamoah on the brink of sealing his transfer to Nice, Pugh could well be the man to replace the Ghanaian as Town's most exciting and potent attacking weapon.
And he believes he can double up as a goal-scorer and creator as he attempts to become a vital cog in the Town machine about to embark on a promotion push.
"I'm loving every minute of it at Shrewsbury and I just can't wait for the season to start," said Pugh.
"We have had a good pre-season and it's been a big build up and we are all desperate for the Lincoln game to come.
"I have been at Bury, Kidderminster and Burnley in the past but the players here are excellent to work with and the training sessions are good.
"There is a really good feel about the place and I don't see any reason why we can't get promotion.
"I am pleased with the way it's gone personally. I'm usually a slow starter in pre-season but then get my sharpness back in the first few weeks so I still think I have got a lot more to show everybody.
"I want to make goals for people but I also hope to score some myself and I would love to come in and get 10 or 15."
Manager Gary Peters was today continuing to contemplate his options on trialist trio Fola Onibjuji, Darren Campian and Jimmy Ryan.
Onibuje and Campian are both free agents and it remains possible they could stay on trial and sign non-contract terms which would enable them to be available for matches. Midfielder Ryan, 19, has a slightly more clouded situation as he has one year remaining on his contract at Liverpool.
