BUS CHANGES A LET DOWN

The proposed alterations to the Bridgnorth to Wolverhampton bus service as set out on the Arriva website, will be greeted with disappointment by many of those who use it.

I imagine passengers were hoping for an improvement, given the government's 'bus revolution' pledge in the King's Speech.

It's probably the most important service for residents of Bridgnorth, bringing in visitors, but giving residents access to rail and metro and onward bus travel at Wolverhampton.

Good connectivity is vital for accessing jobs, training, education and leisure and promoting the town's commercial success. Shropshire Council has received around £4m of government funding, plus £1.8m from the previous regime to revitalise bus services. This won't fulfil it's ambitious Bus Improvement Plan, or help the commitment to the 'climate change emergency', but it could mitigate against cuts to existing services.

PM KEIR IS LIKE A CYBORG

Michael Gough wonders why Starmer needs a script when speaking... well when someone changes their minds as often as he does it will be almost impossible to remember your last u-turn.

With his boring voice, continually repeated phrase like '22 billion million black hole' I think Starmer is the worlds first cyborg AI leader, they seem to have deleted 'I will smash the gangs' from his memory though, and replaced it with 'This is a very business friendly budget'.

GIVE PRINCE A FAIR HEARING

Prince Andrew we all know is now a target for anything and everything and at any opportunity there are people who will attack him, yes, he's been an idiot and yes, he does not show himself to be in a good light or a man of common sense but can we please remember to date he has not been convicted of any criminal offence he is out of favour with all areas of his family and his reputation is none existent.

Now the latest dilemma he finds himself in is the spy scandal and for a few days he was lambasted, criticised, and attacked for associating with a Chinese spy known as H6, that is until it was discovered that this spy also associated with previous UK Prime Ministers and then suddenly it was not as bad.

Then I have to ask myself how did this spy introduce himself to these parties did he say "good morning, Prince Andrew, I'm H6 I'm a spy for the Chinese government, can I be your friend". I thought spies unlike James Bond were secretive and no one should know you are a spy, so how would the parties involved in this debacle know H6 was a spy at the time of meeting him or her?

We know Andrew is not the smartest tool in the tool box but on this occasion, it does appear he and others were well and truly suckered in.
