ACCURATE VIEW INTO FUTURE

I am so sorry for the likes of the USA, India, Russia, China etc. These are countries that do not have politicians with the ability to see that bright future laid out before an expectant nation at COP29 by Starmer. In fact they where so short sighted in this, they didn't bother to attend the conference in Baku, Azerbaijan. Very sad.

Meanwhile, Big K has set out an ambitious climate target for 2035 - leading to praise for Britain as a leader at this COP29.

The aim is to reduce emissions to 81 per cent below 1990 levels by midway through the next decade - a target that essentially accepts the recommendations of the climate change committee.

The genius of Keir is evident in the accuracy of the figure quoted, Some might have given a range of say 70 per cent to 90 per cent but I guess using the those same brilliant civil servants and the programme that gave us fully "costed, fully funded". Keir can specify with incredible accuracy what disaster he has in store for us all.

A LONG WINTER FOR PENSIONERS

Lots of pensioners lived through hard times in 1939 to1954 with a war and rationing with very little food, and long winters of very cold weather. They now have to face further long winters without their heating allowances and will face hardship again. I wonder whether those in the House of Lords will go cold this winter? I don’t think they will, the taxpayers' money will keep them warm. It makes me think that the ones Hitler could not see off, Starmer will.

WE MUST VALUE OUR DEMOCRACY

It is reassuring after our post-UK elections, we can settle down (ish) to open discussions and debates between the different sides of running the country. It is called democracy. I mean who in their right mind would vote for a multi-bankrupt, multi-felon, and a constant liar? Someone to avoid, or perhaps jail. But we seem to have acquired a sprinkling of people in the UK who are happy to back such a deplorable person for their political egos.

Farage told us how wonderful we all would be leaving the EU. The opposite has happened and poverty has increased. Johnson, with his famous bus, covered in false, made up slogans like 40 hospitals etc and his PM Covid parties while people were dying isolated and alone. Lastly, the lettuce who did vast damage to the already suffering post-Brexit economy in record time. With her many worldwide trips to get vastly more expensive goods imported and she failed. What a trio! We should be wary, lest the UK becomes a poor man's offshore for Trump, and ensure we still have our system of choosing our leaders. It's worth fighting for.
