Shropshire firefighters share pictures of overnight battle against major blaze in derelict building
Multiple fire crews have been at the scene of the incident
Firefighters have shared photos from their efforts to put out a major blaze in a derelict building in north Shropshire yesterday.
Multiple Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service crews were scrambled to Whitchurch on Sunday (June 14).

Initially five fire crews were dispatched to the incident on Edgeley Road, at around 5pm.
Reports from residents said the building affected was the former Edgeley House care home, which has become derelict since the business closed in 2021.

Crews have remained at the scene this morning.
An update from Ellesmere Fire Station - one of those to send firefighters to deal with the incident - said they had worked overnight to tackle the fire.

The crew also shared pictures of the incident.
Writing on social media it said: “At 22.54 last night the Ellesmere crew were mobilised to a building fire in Whitchurch as part of a three pump relief.
