West Midlands Police officer battered with own baton in violent scuffle with suspect
A police officer was struck over the head with his own baton in a scuffle with a suspect - who then fled on an e-bike.
Footage shows two officers from West Midlands Police attempting to restrain a man who is clinging to railings.
The incident happened on Soho Road in Handsworth, Birmingham, on Friday July 3.

The officers can be heard telling the man to "stop resisting" and to "get on the floor now" while kneeing him in the leg and attempting to pull him to the ground.
When the man continues to resist, one officer warns that he will "use his Taser" on him.
After struggling with the man for around a minute and a half, the assailant reaches for one of the officer's batons, which had fallen to the ground during the scuffle.
The man in the hoodie strikes one officer over the head before jumping on his electric bike and fleeing the scene with the baton in his hand.

At the end of the video, the uninjured officer appears to speak into his radio to request an ambulance.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: "We're investigating an incident on Soho Road, Birmingham, and want to speak to Mahroy Stephenson.
