Across the country, there are plenty of roads with the same name - mostly because they lead to the same place.
Here in Shropshire and the wider West Midlands, there are multiple roads dubbed Wellington Road, including in Albrighton, Bilston and Dudley.
But which is the safest? Looking at Police.uk data, which shows various offences that have occurred within a mile radius of a particular street in the last 12 months, we aimed to find out.

Wellington Rd, Dudley was joint highest with 84 offences recorded within a mile radius over the last 12 months. The highest recorded offence for this area was violent/sexual with 33, however, this is below the national average. 2. Wellington Rd, Handsworth
Wellington Rd in the Handsworth area of Birmingham was joint highest with 84 offences recorded within a mile radius over the last 12 months. It had a higher proportion of violent/sexual offences than the road in Dudley with 52 of these offences recorded - though still below the national average of 63. Wellington Rd, Smethwick had the third highest figures for crimes recorded within a mile radius over the last 12 months with 59 recorded. The highest recorded offence in this area was violent/sexual offences (21), which was below the national average.
