The incidents took place in the early hours of Thursday morning.

Police in Ludlow are appealing for information after two incidents of burglary that took place in two villages in the area.

The SNT said: “An unknown male wearing a black tracksuit, blue hoodie, balaclava and carrying a torch was seen on CCTV to check out a camper van and cars on the property, he then entered the farm yard and looked through the sheds . It is believed that there was nothing taken at this time.”

The SNT said another burglary took place in Bitterley at a property on Angel Bank around an hour later between 1.45am and 2.15am.

The SNT said: “Two males were seen on CCTV trying to enter a garage. The males faces were not clearly visible on CCTV , but described as roughly in their 20s and they had gloves on. They picked up items by the garage including a spade and tried and break-in, trying to remove the steel plate on the wooden door of the garage.

“They have then left on foot with damage caused to the steel plate; however, nothing was stolen.”
