The proposals are for the semi-detached houses on land adjacent to 7 Hartshill Avenue in Oakengates.

Plans submitted to the council show that the properties will have the same design with a kitchen and living/dining room on the ground floor and two bedrooms on the first floor.

The site and adjacent house are owned by the developer.

Applicant Neelam Atwal says that there will be on-site parking at each property and a new vehicular crossover from Harthill Avenue.

“Each plot will have separate rear garden with timber panel fencing and will include for a paved access to each house with a side gate, and paved access drive from the back edge of the pavement,” said the application’s design statement.

“The driveway will be on a shared ownership basis for the development. The proposed new vehicular crossover will also include for the access to No.7.”

The applicant added that an enclosed timber fenced bin store area is proposed to be located within the rear gardens of each plot.

“The development is located on the local public transport links to the local and main shopping areas such as Oakengates and Telford town centre, and railway and bus stations,” the applicant added.

The application can be viewed on the Telford & Wrekin Council’s planning portal on their website, application number TWC/2024/0243. Any comments need to be made during the consultation phase which ends on April 25.
