Star Witness: Owl only has eyes for twit-to-you
Staring directly into the camera lens, this owl caught in mid-flight looks like it means business.
The stunning image was captured by Shropshire Star reader Stewart Vaughan, from Donnington, Telford, who managed to get the bird in perfect pose for his picture. It was submitted as part of our Birds of a Feather Star Witness gallery.
Birds of a Feather has been extremely popular since it was set up earlier this month as part of the RSPB's Big Garden Birdwatch – with photographs flooding in to the Shropshire Star website from all over the county.
Send us your pictures of birds, be it in your garden or out and about, to our Star Witness gallery and you could be in with a chance of winning £100.
