Telford crash: We spoke to resident who had to evacuate - and abandon their Sunday roast - when BMW hit house
Neighbours were forced out of their homes for two nights after a BMW car ploughed into a Telford house and put their Sunday roast "on hold".

A resident living two doors down from a terraced property on Holyhead Road in Ketley that was partly destroyed in an astonishing crash has spoken to the Shropshire Star about their experience.
Considerable damage to both the house and car was revealed when the BMW was extracted from the house on Thursday.
Workers have been on site throughout this week to prepare the home for the car's extraction and made the scene as safe as possible.
Steel frames were installed to support the house's structure as well as surrounding barriers and boards.

Speaking to the Shropshire Star, a neighbour, who did not wish to be named, recalled their experience of the crash.
They said: "I was out driving at the time, but my son was in. He rang me up at about 10.45am and said ‘you will never guess what has happened’.
"He said ‘there’s a car in next door’s house’. I said 'what do you mean inside the house?'. I came around the corner and my god, there was a BMW stuck out of it. I was in disbelief.
"My son said he heard a massive rumble like an earthquake and then a load of rumbling after with the bricks falling.

"He said he saw a tyre rolling past the house too."
The BMW smashed into the terraced house next to a Shell garage at around 10.30am on Sunday, November 10, taking out an entire corner of the ground floor building.
Fortunately, there were no injuries as a result of the incident, and the driver and two occupants of the property were discharged by ambulance crews at the scene.
The neighbours were given a hotel room for two nights by Homes Plus who own the properties, before being given the green light to return to their home by a structural engineer who assessed the properties and how safe they are.

The crash unfortunately ruined the family's plans to tuck into a classic Sunday roast.
"I had it all prepared the night before and was looking forward to a Sunday roast, but I had to put that on hold," the neighbour added. "As soon as we came back we had it on Tuesday night."
The driver of the BMW is waiting to hear if action will be taken after West Mercia Police confirmed that no arrests were made, but that the driver was reported for driving without due care.
The neighbour was pleased that nobody was injured in the incident and thanked the Homes Plus team for their help.

Asked if they felt lucky to not be living on that side of the three terraced houses, the Telford resident said: "Definitely, yes. The main thing is that nobody was injured.
"That is fundamentally the main thing, but they could have been.
"I must admit we have had very good support from Homes Plus. They were great and put us in a hotel and gave us money per head."
