Developers will meet opponents of plans for a £5 million biomass burning power station in Bishop's Castle tonight.
Scores of people are expected to quiz Chris Day and John Evans during a three-hour meeting at the town's Church Barn.
The pair are keen to provide accurate information about the plant so that people can decide whether it is a good thing for the town.
Mr Day, of CJ Day Associates, said: "We will be able to provide more technical and environmental information about the plant.
"We have also arranged to meet the Bishop's Castle Group after the public meeting.
"We have also arranged to meet them again on May 15 and in the coming weeks we will be holding discussions with the Bishop's Castle Wasteless Society."
Bishop's Castle Mayor Councillor Jane Carroll said it was good that the public was being given the opportunity to quiz developers.
She said: "The more people know the less the developers are likely to face the accusation that people haven't enough facts.
Steve Middleton, of the anti-plant campaign group said it had not been proved there was a need for it.
