A collection of photos has captured the glow of two wildfires tackled in Mid Wales over the weekend.
The images were captured when crews from Rhayader Fire Station spent almost 24 hours tackling two large blazes - one at Elan Valley and another in Claerwen Valley.
Crews worked to tackle the fire from Saturday evening (April 25) into late evening on Sunday (April 26).
A spokesperson for Rhayader Fire Station said: “All evening Saturday, all day Sunday and from 02:22 - 20:53 today Rhayader Fire Station crews have been battling 2 large fires in the Elan Valley and Claerwen Valley.
“Again you will see the glow tonight but be assured crews are watching. But if you have any worries follow Gwasanaeth Tân ac Achub CGC / MAWW Fire and Rescue advice posted earlier today. Stay safe out there!”
