Drivers beware: These are the four worst towns in Shropshire for delays due to roadworks according to data
Drivers are plagued by roadworks each and every day
We Brits are no strangers to roadworks. Seldom does a day go by that we don’t drive past orange cones and people in high-vis jackets.
If you’re like me, and spend the majority of the day driving around on our road network, you have probably found yourself asking ‘where is the worst?’
Using new data from researchers at CouncilClaims.co.uk, we have listed the four Shropshire towns that are the worst for delaying drivers due to roadworks.
The data tested 237 UK towns and cities, and ranked them by roadworks per square mile, the average duration of works, the active and planned roadworks per 100,000 residents, and the overall number of active or planned roadworks per town/city.
See our list of the towns where drivers are delayed by roadworks the most:

Bridgnorth ranked as the worst town in the county for its roadworks, and the 55th worst nationally.
