Shropshire man to face dangerous driving trial in 2027
The charges relate to an incident in December 2024
A man will face a trial over a charge of dangerous driving next year.
Gareth Jones, 44, of Beech Grove, Ellesmere, appeared at Shrewsbury Crown Court on Wednesday, October 28.
Jones has pleaded not guilty to charges of dangerous driving and criminal damage.
A trial had been due to take place earlier this year, but there was insufficient court time to hear the case.
Today’s hearing relisted the trial to take place during the week commencing August 23, next year.
The dangerous driving charge alleges an incident on December 21, 2024, on Canal Way in Ellesmere.
The criminal damage charge relates to alleged damage caused to a wing mirror on the same date.
Jones was granted unconditional bail pending the trial date.
