Sausage dogs and their owners blew off the Halloween cobwebs for a spooky walk in the Shropshire sunshine this morning.
The Shrewsbury Sausage Social saw huge numbers of dachshunds take to the Quarry, many in adorable fancy dress costumes, for their autumnal stroll on a windy but bright Sunday.
As well as people and pups from Shrewsbury, many travelled from all over, including Craven Arms, Bridgnorth, Wednesbury and even Liverpool.
The event also raised money for the charity Dachshund Rescue UK.
The Shrewsbury Sausage Social has been running for several years. The group normally holds four mass walkies in the Quarry per year - one in spring, one in summer, a Halloween walk in the autumn and a Christmas one during the winter. Owners often dress their dogs in fancy dress for Halloween and Christmas.
